WHO WE ARE
QUI NOUS SOMMES
F.A.C.E. U.S.A. (French-American Creative Exchange) USA is a non-profit association founded in 2015 by American artist Monte Laster and local inhabitants. It is based at CASTLE ROCK MOUNTAIN, a historical location in Santo, Texas.
F.A.C.E. was also created in France in 2001 at the historical site known as Moulin Fayvon in La Courneuve in the northern suburbs of Paris.
Through collaboration with artists representing a variety of disciplines, F.A.C.E. endeavours to inspire and empower local communities by way of a creative, micro-political exchange. Interactive art projects draw from the imagination and input of the communities in order to highlight social issues such as civic preservation and revitalization, education and progressive urban planning, all of which have a daily impact on local citizens.
From local residents to highly respected professionals in contemporary art, urban planning, and architecture, F.A.C.E. has the rare ability to bring together diverse groups of people from a wide range of backgrounds. F.A.C.E. also works on an international level, forging ties with cities that share similar complexities, such as La Courneuve, the rural village of Cramoisy in the Oise region and in Paris.
F.A.C.E. U.S.A. (French-American Creative Exchange) USA est une association à but non lucratif fondée en 2015 par l'artiste américain Monte Laster et des habitants locaux. Il est basé à CASTLE ROCK MOUNTAIN, un lieu historique à Santo, au Texas.
F.A.C.E. FRANCE a également été créée en France en 2001 sur le site historique du Moulin Fayvon à La Courneuve en banlieue nord de Paris.
Grâce à une collaboration avec des artistes représentant une variété de disciplines, F.A.C.E. s'efforce d'inspirer et de responsabiliser les communautés locales par le biais d'un échange micro-politique créatif. Les projets d'art interactif s'inspirent de l'imagination et de la contribution des communautés afin de mettre en évidence des problèmes sociaux tels que la préservation et la revitalisation civiques, l'éducation et l'urbanisme progressif, qui ont tous un impact quotidien sur les citoyens locaux.
Des résidents locaux aux professionnels hautement respectés de l'art contemporain, de l'urbanisme et de l'architecture, F.A.C.E. a la capacité rare de rassembler divers groupes de personnes provenant d'un large éventail de milieux. VISAGE. travaille également au niveau international, tissant des liens avec des villes qui partagent des complexités similaires, comme La Courneuve, le village de Cramoisy dans l'Oise et à Paris.

WHAT WE DO
F.A.C.E. U.S.A. is a non-profit organisation who uses authentic social and inter-cultural exchanges as a medium to impact artists and specific communities.
The artworks produced by FACE, are holistic celebrations of the acts of living, evolving, educating and creating art.
In the context of Santo, Texas, the association also has for objective the defence and rescue of the Castle Rock Mountain (Situated at 12913 South HWY 281) site, intended to become a multidisciplinary participative space serving local national and international .

F.A.C.E. U.S.A. est une organisation à but non lucratif qui utilise des échanges sociaux et interculturels authentiques comme moyen d'avoir un impact sur les artistes et les communautés spécifiques.
Les œuvres d'art produites par FACE sont des célébrations holistiques des actes de vivre, d'évoluer, d'éduquer et de créer de l'art.
Dans le contexte de Santo, Texas, l’association a également pour but la defence et sauvegarde de Castle Rock Mountain (situé au 12913 South HWY 281) destiné à devenir un site multidisciplinaire participatif au niveau locale, nationale et internationale.
